Children and teens from as young as four, at Ipswich Dance Company, competed in the XDC competition that happened in Luton at the start of the month.
The dance company only opened its doors six months ago, with this competition being the first many of the participants had competed in.
In total, eleven dancers took to the dance floor for IDC in Luton, the youngest being four, and the oldest being 13.

The oldest group, AGC, has competed before as a group, finishing seventh and fourth, but this year, picked up the top spot, winning its section.
The youngest group, Street Beatz, had only been dancing together for two months prior to the tournament, and finished in seventh place.
Founder of IDC and teacher, Jade Dengel said: “Relocating to Ipswich from London just under a year ago, I never imagined going back to competitions but after opening IDC and seeing the passion the children showed in class and at home weekly, I knew I had to showcase their talent.
“Winning is great, but to watch them grow as people, grow as dancers, build their confidence, watching them make friendships and seeing them have fun, that is what it is all about.”

The group has to hold fundraisers regularly to help them get to national tournaments, with their next tournament in June, and money going on travel, costumes and also studio hire.
The group currently trains on Saturdays at Chantry Academy and is encouraging those interested to get involved.
