Maker’s (MKR) Token Buyback Boosts July Surge
Maker’s (MKR) price has rallied sharply to continue its recent surge. The rally was due to its recent token buyback aimed at removing 7 million Maker (MKR) tokens from circulation. The token buyback sent Maker’s (MKR) price to $1,200 for the first time in 2023.
Maker (MKR) was already bullish, trading at $924 on July 19. On July 21, it jumped by 11.6% to $1,032 after announcing its token buyback. The ensuing bullish run pushed Maker (MKR) further up by 7.5% to $1,110 on July 23.
As of July 27, Maker (MKR) is trading at $1,206. Bullish analysts expect the year to end with a 7.7% rise to $1300, citing an expected increase in MKR trading activity. However, bearish analysts say Maker (MKR) will drop by 16.3% to 1,009 due to expected competition from tokens like AVAX and Compound.
Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) Rise in Network Activity Propels Rally
Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) network activity has risen since June, reflecting its price positively. The number of daily active addresses on Shiba Inu (SHIB) surged to 42,822 on July 11.
Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) price also rose impressively during this time. It was trading at $0.0000068 on June 17. A month later, Shiba Inu (SHIB) had risen by 16.9% to $0.0000079 on July 15 following these developments. As of July 27, Shiba Inu (SHIB) is trading at $0.0000078.
Bullish investors expect it to rise by 38%, reaching 0.0000081 in a few months. Their reasons include its recent increase in network activity. However, bearish investors expect it to drop by 14% to 0.0000078. The bearish predictions hinge on a resurgent performance of altcoins like XRP to challenge Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) growth.
Stellar (XLM) Linked Investment Funds Rally Following Ripple’s Win
The assets under management for Stellar (XLM) linked investment funds rose sharply in July following Ripple’s win against the SEC. Investment funds like Grayscale’s Stellar Lumens Trust (XLM) also recorded significant surges.

As of July 27, Stellar (XLM) is trading at $0.16. Bullish investors say Stellar (XLM) will end the year with a 31% rise to $0.21 due to an expected increase in Stellar’s (XLM) trading activity in line with growth in funding. However, bearish investors say Stellar (XLM) will fall by 18% to $0.11 due to expected competition from the direct competition, Ripple.
