Pudgy Penguins and Mythical Games Collaborate on Web3 Game

Pudgy Penguins and Mythical Games have partnered to develop a blockchain-based mobile video game slated for release in 2025.

This collaboration aims to merge the charm of Pudgy Penguins’ NFT collection with Mythical Games’ gaming expertise.

Pudgy Penguins and Mythical Games Join Forces

Pudgy Penguins stands out as a leading NFT collection. CryptoSlam data reveals it ranks among the top 20 most-traded collections, with a 24-hour sales volume of 106.97 ETH. Mythical Games, the creator of NFL Rivals and Blankos Block Party, adds significant expertise to this collaboration.

The process will actively involve the Pudgy Penguins community. NFT holders will receive exclusive content and sneak peeks, which will influence various aspects of development. This approach highlights the value placed on community insights and contributions.

Building this with Mythical Games on the Mythical Platform and Mythos Chain, already used by millions of consumers, is going to be a major driver to further push web3 with mainstream consumers,” said Mythical Games CEO John Linden.

The mobile app’s development follows the release of the desktop-based Pudgy World game earlier this year. This web-based game operates on the Ethereum Layer-2 network zkSync. It also follows the launch of a toy collection that introduced penguin plushies in approximately 2,000 Walmart stores last year, which include NFT collectibles usable in the desktop game.

The new initiative aims to resonate with the community and captivate millions of gamers, boosting Mythical Platforms’ wallets, transaction volume, and sales. Nate Nesbitt, Head of Communications at Mythical Games, called the partnership a game-changer.
