“It began one afternoon while I was eating lunch with my daughter. I was explaining NFTs to her, and she immediately said, “You should make a fairy collection.” This prompted my creative side to start working on the Crypto Fairy Club’s design. About halfway through the process, I experienced a life-changing event. At 1:30 a.m., I received a phone call from the hospital. My mother suffered a cardiac arrest following knee surgery earlier in the day. Her heart stopped for 8 minutes, and when she was revived she was in a pretty bad place physically (heart blood flow was only 15%) and mentally (her will to live had faded). She was transferred to a living care facility where the doctor certified her for hospice care. Her one request was to be moved back home. This is where Hospice Care was introduced to us.“

A recent report published on Bloomberg.com revealed that the global NFT Market surpassed $40 Billion in 2021, catching up with the global fine art market as more people get into the virtual space. However, many of the available NFT projects do not particularly address a social issue, which is where Crypto Fairy Club is looking to make a difference by seeing to the betterment of hospices and their clients.

According to a report by the CDC, there are more than 4,600 hospice providers in the United States. Despite the importance of hospice care and the increasing popularity of the providers, agencies still struggle to effectively address the concerns of patients. However, Crypto Fairy Club seeks to change this narrative by contributing a percentage of the sale of the NFTs to charitable organizations relating to hospice care.

The NFT project and initiative to donate 15 ETH to Hospice Care Foundation after 50% of the supply has been minted is personal as the developer aims to give back to the service that saved his mother’s life. The project will also be donating another 20 ETH after 100%, with plans to support more charities in the future with new collections.

Minting of the 3,737 unique 8-bit retro fairy NFTs will be exclusively on the Crypto Fairy Club website to be launched at 0.05 ETH per piece.
