Players that are in love with Shiba Inu dogs need to play Ghostwire: Tokyo as they play a vital role in the gameplay and can give players items.

Players that are fans of Shiba Inu dogs should put Ghostwire: Tokyo at the top of their “must-play list”, as there are plenty scattered around the world. The supernatural action-adventure title is currently set to release on March 25 exclusively to Playstation and PC. Unfortunately, those on Xbox will have to wait until 2023 to enjoy everything the virtual dogs have to offer since the game is a timed exclusive.

Ghostwire: Tokyo puts the player in the shoes of the protagonist Akito as he encounters and fights supernatural beings in order to discover the cause of people vanishing in Tokyo, and rescue his sister. Gameplay previews have been released for the title showcasing things such as gameplay mechanics, graphics, and the art style that the title follows. With all of this displayed, Ghostwire: Tokyo is a big release in 2022 for some fans.

Not only does the title allow fans to pet the Shiba Inus that they may come across, but they actually serve a purpose that players can benefit from. Akito can feed the dog treats, which can be found within the supernatural world, and have a conversation with the Shiba Inu. It’s also worth noting that, in a demonstration video that was posted on the official Ghostwhire: Tokyo Twitter account, Akito understands what the dogs are saying. The game’s Twitter account also came out stating that not only can you feed the Shiba Inus, but you can also pet them as well. Interacting with them can grant items such as Meika (in-game currency) or hidden collectibles. Currently, nobody knows what these collectibles look like as there haven’t been any images or footage putting them on display.

With a stylish supernatural game like Ghostwire: Tokyo, there’s a possibility that Shiba Inus may even play a more vital role than they already have. It would be nice if the dogs were able to help Akito in battle activating some type of ability to aid him. As the official release date grows closer, hopefully so does more footage of dogs with mysterious auras.

It’s been a longtime trope for open-world games such as this one to have a feature that allows players to pet and interact with certain animals. The ability has been featured in games such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ghost of Tsushima, and Red Dead Redemption 2. This time players actually have even more of an incentive to do so as they can reap benefits from doing so.

If Shiba Inu lovers can’t wait until March 25 to meet the charming dogs, they can purchase the deluxe edition of Ghostwire: Tokyo, giving them early access to the game. The supernatural horror title is highly anticipated for a host of reasons, and its Shiba Inu’s should increase the level of hype even more. Hopefully, their presence in the game will be significant, and Akito won’t have to brave Tokyo on his own for too long.
