Autobahn Network — The First Scaling Solution for BSC

The Autobahn Network will open a whole new world of possibility by being the very first Layer 2 Optimistic Rollup for the BNB Smart Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain). It will serve to minimize fees and provide lightning-fast transaction speed while benefiting from the BNB Smart Chain which underlies it.

Eventually, most EVM chains will need a scaling layer. Right now, this is the missing part.

The Autobahn Network will provide that scaling solution in a form of an Optimistic Rollup that will be connected to the BNB Smart Chain (BSC; formerly known as Binance Smart Chain).

Experience with Ethereum has already proven that scaling is necessary. Network congestion leads to high network or gas fees. Optimism, Arbitrum, Boba, and others provide good Optimistic Rollup solutions for Ethereum. BNB Smart Chain (BSC) is the next that needs scaling and there is no BSC scaling solution that currently exists. Gas fees on BSC are already too high for many BSC dApps with high transaction volumes. Amounts of $0.2 to $1.50 per transaction are already too expensive for gaming and NFT projects on the BNB Smart Chain.

The fees on BSC may climb even higher in the near future — along with an even bigger demand for a scaling solution. BSC might not be as decentralized as Ethereum or even other L1s. This had its advantages in the beginning: Less decentralization makes scaling in a L1 easier because only a few nodes need to broadcast information and find consensus. However, it makes sense that all L1s will want to increase their level of decentralization over time, at least to some extent, while still increasing their performance. It’s almost impossible to achieve this completely without L2s or a comparable concept. Hence the huge opportunity that exists for a scaling solution.

The main use cases for the Autobahn Network will be Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which account for the majority of transactions on the underlying layers. It will supply all BSC projects in DeFi, NFTs, Gaming, etc. with the ideal scaling solution.

Token Use Cases

The Autobahn Network’s token $TXL will benefit from each and every transaction. Not only from every transaction that happens in the first Scaling Network of BNB Smart Chain, but also from every transaction that happens in all other Autobahn Network(s) they deploy on further chains, and also from transaction fees on rollups deployed as a service.
