Ethereum, cardano, solana and most crypto are falling today

After a nice green week, most cryptocurrencies are starting in the red this week. Bitcoin (BTC) is falling and concerns about CPI numbers already seem to be catching on. Almost all altcoins from the top 100 are also in the minus today. Total crypto market cap briefly bounced back above $1 trillion over the weekend, but fell 3.4% to $950 billion in the past 24 hours.

Ethereum drops by 3.5%

Ethereum (ETH) was able to rise sharply last week, but it seems that the $1,265 remains the local high for now. The ether price has since corrected and in the past 24 hours, like bitcoin, has fallen by 3.5%. The ETH price is at around $1,146 at the time of writing.

BNB, DOT, ADA, SHIB hold out best

Binance coin (BNB) is holding up strongest today among the largest crypto. BNB briefly dipped below USD 230 this morning, but is now rising above it again. Still, BNB is down 2.7% today. Then follows polkadot (DOT) which is already down 3.5% today and currently stands at $6.8. Cardano (ADA) is down 3.9% today to $0.455 and shiba inu (SHIB) is also down 3.9% to $0.000011.

TRX, DOGE, XRP are already falling harder

Tron (TRX) has continued to decline steadily for the past 24 hours, falling 4.2% to $0.066. Dogecoin (DOGE) is down 4.4% and is around $0.065. Ripple (XRP) made another minor bounce this morning, but is still down 4.5% as well. XRP is currently around $0.325.

AVAX and SOL fall fastest

However, Avalanche (AVAX) is already down 5% today, falling back to $18.5. Solana (SOL) is the biggest loser today among the biggest crypto. SOL fell 5.6% in the past 24 hours to $35.2.

Crypto top 100 hardest fallers and risers

Below the rest of the top 100, however, we have much harder descenders today. Hedera (HBAR), decentraland (MANA), leo (LEO), graph (GRT), waves (WAVES), stellar (XLM), theta fuel (TFUEL), sandbox (SAND), litecoin (LTC) and near (NEAR) are all about 6% in the minus today.

Basic attention token (BAT), tenset (10SET), apecoin (APE), dash (DASH) and celo (CELO) are already about 7% in the min. Enjin coin (ENJ), stacks (STX) and elrond (EGLD) have fallen by 8% in the last 24 hours. Thorchain (RUNE) is down 9% today, quant (QNT) 10% and stepn (GMT) almost 11%.

Still, we have a few green exceptions in the top 100 crypto today. Monero (XMR) is up almost 5% and chiliz (CHZ) is even up 5.5% today.
