These Smart Domains, including .hbar, are minted to the L1 native layer on Hedera and allow consumers to reach to the designated assets on both Web2 and Web3 whenever an address is typed into a web browser. The team is launching their Beta platform and Chrome extension application to enable wallet support and dApps integrations within the Hedera ecosystem. Once a users’ wallet is connected, Web23’s Chrome extension automatically delivers backend APIs and smart contracts to the assigned dApps, SDK, domain name, and wallet ID to perform any transaction.
