Currently, XRP is on an impressive price run. The crypto asset trades at 0.49%, marking an 11.8% 24-hour uptrend. XRP has outperformed the broader crypto market. 

A recent development in the ongoing case between Ripple and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) appears to have encouraged this gain. Earlier this week, U.S. District Court Judge Analisa Torres ordered the financial regulator to turn over the transcripts of a speech given by former Commission Director William Hinman on the nature of several crypto assets. 

Ripple considers the speech to be a key piece of evidence that depicts the lack of merit in the SEC’s claim that XRP is a security. 

For weeks now, there has been renewed hope that the Ripple-SEC case could be heading towards a conclusion.

3. Cardano (ADA)

Investors seeking cryptos to buy for best returns can also consider ADA. The asset is the native token for Cardano, one of the market’s oldest and most popular blockchains. 

Trading at $0.438, ADA is on a 0.35% uptrend in the past 24 hours. Just like XRP, ADA has outperformed the market. 

The crypto asset is looking more attractive as a prospective investment thanks to the recent completion of the Cardano blockchain’s Vasil hard fork. The upgrade officially went live earlier this month to the delight of Cardano developers and investors.
