Naomi Osaka joined fellow professional athletes Tom Brady and Steph Curry as a brand sponsor of the crypto exchange, FTX. It was disclosed that she is taking an equity stake in the exchange as well as receiving an undisclosed amount of crypto as compensation.

Naomi Osaka is joining Tom Brady and Steph Curry as brand sponsors of the crypto exchange, FTX. It was disclosed that she is taking an equity stake in the exchange as well as receiving an undisclosed amount of crypto as compensation.
Now of course, this isn’t Osaka’s first time shaking up the crypto space, as she launched a NFT that sold for $600,000 last year and she joined the board of Tom Brady’s Autograph Platform.
Given that women own crypto at a lower percentage than men, the “long-term partnership” with FTX will be aimed at bringing women into the crypto space and changing that narrative.
