An Everyday Story: A Heartfelt Puzzle Platformer

Cactus Production’s upcoming game, An Every Day Story, has been making waves in the gaming industry. The award-winning puzzle platformer has already caught the attention of the Big Indie Pitch and received a bronze award at last year’s event, as well as reaching the semi-finals at Xsolla’s XDC Contest for LATAM developers.

Inspired by games like Unravel, What Remains of Edith Finch, and the Little Nightmares series, An Every Day Story tells the story of a man through the point of view of three trinkets that represent the bonds with his loved ones. Players will be able to experience the memories of this man and the melancholy of life, including needs, wishes, forgiveness, nostalgia, and family. The game features nine stunning environments and allows players to control a steam boat, tin soldier, and bat origami, each with their own unique mechanics and gameplay opportunities.

Cactus Production is known for creating emotional, story-driven games and An Every Day Story is no exception. The game will also be accessible to visually-impaired players thanks to the implementation of accessibility tools developed by Novis Games, a group of Italian developers who Cactus Production worked with on the project.
