Crypto exchange Binance has announced the launch of its AI NFT generator called “Bixel,” allowing users to create custom artwork using artificial intelligence technology. The tool is permanently available for users and aims to provide unique digital art experiences in the world of NFTs. However, users must complete Binance’s know your customer (KYC) identity verification process and pay a minting fee of 0.008 BNB ($1.9) to use the tool. These measures are in place to ensure a secure and trustworthy platform, aligning with industry practices and regulations.
Binance had previously released a beta version of the AI NFT generator on March 1, named “Bicasso.” The beta version reached its maximum capacity of 10,000 NFTs within 2.5 hours of going live. However, it faced controversy as it was accused of copying the idea from a project called “Chatcasso,” which won a hackathon in South Korea in December 2022. Binance denied the allegations, stating that “Bicasso” was independently developed before the hackathon.
In addition to the launch of Bixel, Binance also announced that users will have ten free chances to generate artwork using AI each day. This move aims to encourage users to explore their creativity in generating unique digital art pieces. The artwork generator seeks to provide a seamless and efficient NFT creation process within the BNB smart chain.
Overall, Binance’s AI NFT generator offers users the opportunity to express their creativity and engage with the NFT ecosystem. The platform’s emphasis on security measures and regulatory compliance ensures a trusted environment for users.
