Bitcoin Tops $29,000; XDC Network Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) traded higher, with the cryptocurrency prices rising past the key $29,000 level on Wednesday.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also moved higher, but remained below the key $1,900 mark this morning.

XDC Network (CRYPTO: XDC) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Curve DAO Token (CRYPTO: CRV) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.18 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 1.5%. BTC was trading higher by 2.1% at $29,485 while ETH rose by around 1.2% to $1,853 on Wednesday.
