BTC, XRP, VET, ADA Can Now Be Used to Pay for Event Tickets in Romania via Binance Pay

Entertix, one of the biggest ticketing platforms in Romania, has partnered with Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume, to adopt crypto as an alternative payment method for event tickets.

The new development was announced on Twitter a couple of hours ago by Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the Chief Executive Officer of Binance.

It should be noted that the payment will be facilitated by Binance Pay, a contactless, borderless, secure crypto payment system, using a number of listed cryptocurrencies, including, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple’s XRP, VeChain (VET), Cardano (ADA), and others.

According to CZ Binance in the announcement, this is one of the ways Binance has adopted to further push for the global adoption of cryptocurrency.

CZ tweeted, “Binance Pay is now available on the biggest ticketing platform in Romania – Entertix. You can buy tickets for the team we sponsor @RapidFC1923 and many other events. Pushing adoption.”
