Shred event on tap
Kitsap Bank is partnering with the Sequim Food Bank to host a “From Shred to Fed” shred event from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Kitsap Bank’s Sequim branch, 1320 W. Washington St.
The public is encouraged to support the food bank by bringing outdated or sensitive documents for safe destruction and disposal, along with a monetary donation. Participants are asked to limit documents to a maximum of 75 pounds per vehicle; and to make a cash or check donation in the amount they choose to the local food bank.
All funds raised at this event will go to supporting the Sequim Food Bank.
“We are pleased to partner once again with the Sequim Food Bank, and support those in need in our local community,” said Charles Robertson, Senior Vice President, Chief Retail Banking Officer. “Through the shred event, we hope to not only raise vital funds, but also awareness about food insecurity right here at home.”
