Local community CryptoArt PH successfully organized Decked Out: Art Reimagined in Makati.

CryptoArt Philippines, a local community dedicated to promoting digital and NFT art, has recently organized a three-day exhibit titled “Decked Out: Art Reimagined.”

• Decked Out: Art Reimagined was presented by Cryptoart PH in collaboration with The Astbury and Eric Manuel.
  • A collection of a classic 54-card deck, reimagined as unique artworks by 47 talented Filipino artists from various backgrounds. 
  • It was held last June 27-29, 2024, at The Astbury in Poblacion, Makati.

How it works:  The exhibit displayed each artist’s unique interpretation of a card from a standard deck, blending traditional and digital art techniques. 

• Attendees could view the physical artworks and interact with augmented reality elements.

However: While the exhibit was a significant success, the NFT art space still faces challenges such as market volatility and the environmental impact of blockchain technology.
