Dogecoin (DOGE) Under Bearish Pressure

Despite heavy speculations about a potential use in X, formerly Twitter, Doecoin (DOGE) has failed to break out of the bearish pressure. The price of Dogecoin continues to decline despite a jump in trading volume.

Unlike Dogecoin, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been trading on an ascending trendline for more than two months. Following a 35% increase, the price of Shiba Inu has dropped by more than 5% in the last 24 hours. The price of SHIB now stands at $0.000009137.

The price increased as Shiba Inu looks to dominate the meme coin space with several developments. With the launch of Shiba Inu’s layer 2 network, Shibarium, coming next week, the project looks to become faster and cheaper.

Data from LunarCrush shows that Shiba Inu is the leading social and market activity network when compared to the entire crypto market. The strong social media presence of Shiba Inu could cause the meme coin to rally when the Shibarium launches next week.

Pomerdoge (POMD) Crowned Meme Coin of 2023
