Owners of bunny rabbits in the Chicago area now have a new and unique option when they need to go on vacation.
Hare Bnb Rescue, Spa & Boutique, or Hare Bnb as it’s more commonly known, is a first-of-its-kind luxury hotel that officially opened just 2 weeks ago.
Complete with Persian rugs, chewable privacy huts, and even spa packages that come with massages and pampering, Marcia Coburn, one of the creators of Hare Bnb says it wants to provide its four-legged guests “the most caring and luxurious experience” when their owners are out of town.
Despite being newly-opened, Hare Bnb already has a growing waiting list, said Coburn, who’s also president of the Red Door Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter in Chicago for cats, rabbits and dogs.
All profits from the newly-opened hotel will go towards helping animals at the Red Door Animal Shelter get adopted.
“We’re helping them out by giving them a nice place to stay and take care of them,” said Coburn. “But we’re also raising money to help the animals who have yet to find their forever homes.”
Coburn says Red Door Animal Shelter helps nearly 300 bunny rabbits find forever homes every year.
