Humble beginning and self-confidence turn an ordinary individual into a superstar and Garry Vee is one of the best examples. Garry Vee is an American entrepreneur, speaker, author, and internet personality born on 14 November 1975 in Babruysk, Belarus. Gary grew up poor but never wanted to live like a poor. At a very small age, he was engaged with finding new ways to make money that turned his life and made him a famous internet personality. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Management Science from Mount Ida College in Newton in 1998 and began his career at the family’s wine store in New Jersey. With his excellent skills and capabilities, Gary took the business from $3 Million to $60 million in just one year. Also, posting wine videos over the internet made him an internet celebrity.         

Gary Vee’s Entry into NFTs and Crypto 

Gary is the chairman and CEO of many of the businesses including VaynerMedia, Vayner3, VaynerSpeakers, and created VeeFriends. VaynerMedia is a social agency offering strategies to many Fortune 500 companies, grossing $150 Million annually.  

Focusing on the journey of Gary into the NFTs and the crypto space, he became aware of cryptocurrency in 2014. Aaron Batalion, a venture capitalist, introduced Gary Vee to Bitcoin, at that time he was negative about crypto. According to him, the industry sounds like outer space and is not his cup of tea. 

Later, familiarity with Ethereum boosted his interest in the crypto landscape and he made his first-ever ETH investment at $0.06 which is now around $2.650. Gary’s interest in the digital asset enhanced with time and he began to invest in the same. In the year 2020, he connected with the founder of CryptoKittie, an NFT collection. In 2021, he purchased his first CryptoPunk, and afterward, he purchased countless NFTs. Gary Vee invested around $32.6 Million in 59 CryptoPunks.

The journey of Garry with the NFTs doesn’t end here and in May 2021, he launched his own NFT collection, VeeFriends. The purpose is to engage the large following to have access to the NFTs and provide financial support to the followers.

VeeFriends (VFT) is an NFT collection with around 10,255 unique NFTs which can be bought or sold on LooksRare and OpenSea. Currently, the platform has approximately 5,122 unique addresses holding VFT NFT. Individuals can explore various characters like Zealous Zombie, Nifty Narwhal, Aspiring Alpaca, Poised Pug, etc. Apart from this, the platform also allows users to play games like the Veccon Viper Game.   

At initial, the project was a success and reported around $90 Million in sales in 90 days.   

The current floor price of VFT is $3,883.45 with a sales volume of 2.05ETH.
