Limited-edition NFTs unlock access to crypto casinos

Casinos and iGaming are coming to Web3.

Degenverse offers exclusive passes that serve as an entry point to its ecosystem — not to mention a portfolio of casinos that offer an immersive experience. 

According to the team members, few projects have focused on the exciting iGaming niche, let alone casinos and online betting. And while some online betting platforms do accept crypto, few offer access to a portfolio of different casinos.

The crypto project is backed by BC Game, a community-based casino that offers a plethora of slots and live card games for users to enjoy.

It’s offering something known as the Degen Pass — a collection of 1,777 NFTs based on the Ethereum blockchain. Beyond granting access to its immersive, customizable digital world, owners are also set to benefit from an array of exclusive perks.

There are three ways of getting hold of a Degen Pass. One is to participate in wagers on BC Game, while another is to rank in the top 10 of the “Big Bang” wagering event. Whitelist spots are also available through Twitter and forum giveaways.

From here, the Degen Pass enables holders to showcase their avatars in a unique way, receive a share of the jackpot from iGaming providers, and even access mystery airdrops. A VIP permit will also deliver access to an experience like no other.

A strong partnership

Degenverse team members says BC Game has become one of the leading crypto casinos in the market today — with data from the project suggesting more than 10 billion bets have been placed through this platform over the past three years. What’s more, it now has three million users around the world — and over 5,000 games.

A spokesperson told Cointelegraph: “With our Degenverse project, we aim to direct the market to a new generation where the metaverse is accessible conveniently to Web3 users, offering engagement with casino platforms that use NFTs as access. This project will change lives, especially for those who want more freedom to play.”

Just some highlights from the past 12 months include Degenverse being championed on a billboard at NFT.NYC — a flagship event for the nonfungible token sector that took over Times Square. BC Game has also won three awards — two for Casino of the Year from Affpapa and Sigma respectively, with AIBC crowning it Blockchain Gaming Platform of the Year too. 

But the hard work doesn’t stop here. In the year ahead, Degenverse team members say they’re planning to develop the perks offered through the Degenpass, and grant early access to a decentralized betting app that’s powered by smart contracts.
