After an epic 12-episode run, it’s time to say goodbye to Mashle: Magic and Muscles as the final episode is set to premiere later this week.

The previous episode of Mashle didn’t just see an exciting battle between Mash and Abel, but also introduced two new villains working directly for Innocent Zero, the main antagonist of the series. Although their intentions aren’t clear yet, they are definitely evil and certainly pose a threat to Mash and his friends in the upcoming episode.

What Happened Previously On Mashle: Magic And Muscles?

The episode started with Abel and Mash confronting each other. Abel attacked Mash with his doll magic, and the latter swiftly destroyed his acidic doll. Abel shared his inferior look on society, considering weak as unworthy, after which Mash questioned if defeating Abel meant he was inferior to him. Undeterred, Abel sent three clown dolls, but Mash effortlessly defeated them and resolved to save Lemon and his friends upon winning.

Abel used his puppet magic to control Mash, making him harm himself, but Mash broke through his magic easily. He then used Finn, who has been turned into a puppet, and forbade Mash from attacking, threatening to break Finn. Mash used his gold coin and shot it to sever Finn’s threads. Abel attempted to control Mash again, but Mash resisted, breaking Abel’s fingers connected to the control threads. Mash then kicked Abel, who in turn turned Mash into a doll. Abel reached into Mash’s pocket for the gold coin but found a cream puff instead. Mash punched Abel, surprising him. Abel realized Mash’s instinctive movements were beyond his control.

Abel activated his strongest magic called Harm Puppet, creating a large creepy doll that turned anything within a 100-meter radius into puppets. Mash unexpectedly destroyed Harm Puppet by tearing the strings, surprising Abel. Abel attacked again, but Mash swiftly countered and defeated him. As Abel faced defeat, he recalled his kind mother’s tragic stabbing, and we learned the reason behind his twisted portrayal of society. As promised, Abel agreed to release the puppets, freeing Lemon, Finn, and Dot.

Rayne met with Lance and questioned his affiliation with the school. He then got attacked but managed to counter. Lance revealed his true identity and Rayne learned that the man in front of him was a minion of Innocent Zero, and joined the school to find something important. Abel failed to find it, leading them to now consider killing him. The episode ended with Jon Pierre, a serial killer emerging and facing off against Rayne.
