The Swiss NFT and metaverse conference, led by Katharina de Vaivre, the Managing Director of E.A.T. (Engadin Art Talks), and Georg Bak, a distinguished digital art advisor and curator, aims to redefine the intricate interconnections between Web3 and art. Its overarching mission is to spotlight crypto art within the wider realm of the history of digital art, and ignite a profound dialogue about the role and impact of emerging technologies in the art sphere while also creating new and fertile ground for exploration.

NFT ART DAY ZRH (find more here) serves as a platform for building connections between the traditional art world and the emerging realm of NFTs. The event places a strong emphasis on exploring the intersection of art and NFTs, delving into the innovative possibilities offered by blockchain technology, examining the evolution of historical digital art, analyzing the performance of the digital art market, and examining various other facets of this intricate ecosystem. By bringing together experts, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts, NFT ART DAY ZRH provides a comprehensive exploration of the multifaceted landscape of crypto art and its surrounding elements.

The second edition of NFT ART DAY ZRH will be held over two days, coinciding with the Zurich Art Weekend and preceding Art Basel. The conference kicks off on Saturday, June 10, with a range of educational sessions and workshops designed for both professionals and newcomers. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the process of minting, buying, and selling NFTs. 

On Sunday, June 11, the main conference will take place at Kunsthaus Zürich’s newly constructed Chipperfield building. The conference offers a captivating program featuring talks and panel discussions that delve into various aspects of the NFT field. Key themes to be explored include the current state of the NFT art market, insights into significant artistic practices, the impact of rapidly advancing technologies in the art world, examination of collecting behavior, and artist talks. NFT ART DAY ZRH serves as a platform for bringing together international thought leaders, experts, artists, curators, and collectors who operate at the intersection of art and technology.
