It all started when a Ripple supporter took to X, to spotlight the fact that Google positions XRP as an asset with the potential to become world reserve currency.

More precisely, liquidity was cited as a key factor in the market that could aid in strengthening foreign exchange reserves.

In response to the post, Dig Perspectives explained that although he looks forward to making decent profits from the XRP market, he would be more interested in seeing XRP emerge as a world reserve currency.

“I may take profits at $10-$25 and so on,but this is what I’m really excited about. The real early vision of Ripple and the use of XRP. Hate us for it if you want to,but it isn’t going to change the course of XRP history.” He wrote on X.

Meanwhile, at press time, XRP is trading at a price of $0.51. The altcoin has sustained mild gains over the last 24 hours, and has since successfully outperformed other rival tokens in hourly profits.
