Rotary Holding Annual Gold Rush Fundraiser | News, Sports, Jobs

The Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club once again is holding its annual Gold Rush fundraiser titled, “Go for the Green!” on Saturday, March 12.

The drawing for numerous prizes will be announced live via Zoom and steaming live over Facebook at 7:30 p.m. The club will also present the Paul Harris Community Service Award to a person who exemplifies Rotary’s Motto “Service Above Self.” Janese Berkhouse, Foundation Chair will make the presentation.

Tickets are $25 each or five for $100. The grand prize of $1,000 has been donated by the South Ripley Solar Project. Other major prizes include a YETI Tundra Wheeled Cooler, Shelter Logic 10′ x 20′ Canopy and a one night stay at the Gold Brook Farm BnB.

Proceeds go to support community service projects and student scholarships at Brocton, Sherman, Chautauqua Lake (including Ripley students) and Westfield schools.

Tom and Jan Berkhouse, Tops Friendly Market, Tractor Supply and Webb’s Captains Table, Tracy Bennett, CPA and others yet to be received,” said Dan Smith, club president.
