Shiba Eternity explodes – Will SHIB burn push token to $1?

There were several thousands of downloads for Shiba Inu’s game (Shiba Eternity) on its first day of launch. It became one of the top 20 downloaded games on apple’s app store at 19th position. While no one knows the exact number of downloads for the game on apple’s app store, the game’s downloads exceeded 10,000 on Google’s Playstore on the first day of release.

The card game was developed in partnership with PlaySide Studios, an Australia-based world-renowned video game developer. As a card strategy game, Shiba Eternity has similar mechanics as hearthstone, a widely popular card strategy game. Even though the game is free to play, it has paid content such as special items and packs.

Copyright data revealed that the game has been in development for the past two years. The data also revealed that the Shiba Inu development team has had this game in its plan since the launch of the Shiba Inu project. According to multiple statements by the development team, it plans to incorporate a SHIB burning mechanism into Shiba Eternity.

However, the team has yet to reveal how the burning process will happen. Meanwhile, the game’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama revealed that he is about to finish up a complete players guide for the new card game.

One reason for the huge expectations surrounding the game is that it is an avenue of real-world utility for the project. This is important for Shiba Inu as it aims to separate itself from its memecoin origins. Despite the buzz surrounding the game’s launch and its several thousand downloads, there was no significant effect on SHIB’s price movement. According to the latest data, SHIB is down 2.09 percent in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.000011.

It is important to note that there was a huge spike in the Shiba Inu age consumed metric on Wednesday, October 5 by up to 123.77 trillion SHIB. This sharp spike indicates a movement of a huge volume of SHIB tokens following a period of dormancy. This metric usually records significant changes in any large volume movement of dormant crypto tokens.

Previous experience indicates that a token dump is a primary reason for the changes in this metric. Various data also confirmed a decline in the total SHIB supply held by top addresses declined by about 220 billion SHIB coins (worth about $2.5 million) between October 1 and October 6, 2022. Perhaps, this decline (which represents a lack of investor confidence) may be the reason the Shiba Eternity launch didn’t have any significant effect on SHIB’s price.
