Shiba Inu: Let’s Get Physical

• Shiba Inu’s leading developers and influencers drop teasers on an upcoming “physical product”, leaving the community with guesses. 

• More than 90 percent of SHIB investors are currently at a loss following the recent price fall and the decline in wallet addresses.

The SHIB community has received frequent updates on some developments in the pipeline over the past few months. However, there has not been any specific date for the release of some of these highly anticipated projects. Just as in the previous updates, Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has triggered speculation on Twitter with a new post captioned “Something physical is coming”.

While no specific project was attached to the tweet, it is suspected that he was referring to the much-anticipated hardware wallet. Others also think Kusama was likely referring to plushies or the John Richmond clothing. 

Richmond clothing comes into the picture because renowned Italian-based English fashion designer John Richmond recently made some clothing accessories available exclusively to SHIB holders. The community has also received several updates on the cold storage solution from Tangem including the delivery of 5,000 SHIB cold wallets pre-ordered starting from early July. Also, a giveaway was announced for the cold wallet.

Other Influencers Join the Shiba Inu Upcoming Product Update

Similar to Kusama’s post, Lucie, an official Shiba Inu marketing team member also tweeted a teaser of the so-called physical product. In her tweet, the logo of the upcoming physical product was attached to give the community a hint.

Another SHIB enthusiast identified as “Danger” tweeted an image captioning it as “I guess the Shiba is out of the back.” This image has a name called “Shibacals” and a slogan titled “physical & digital studio.”

Within the period, a Shiba Inu influencer identified as Kuro also tweeted about Shabacals with a question to the community.

A quick research led to the discovery that the Shabacals account was created in March 2023 with an account name “Shibacals Collaboration Studio.”  Its account bio also leaves a hint about the so-called physical product the Shib influencers and developers are posting about. According to the description, it produces high-quality physical items that have digital components for communities. It also has a tag for the SHIB army.

What to Expect From the Price

While the Shiba Inu investors are expecting a quick rebound, the asset has suffered a setback by recording a 16 percent fall in the last seven days. In the past week, Shiba Inu is said to have failed to attract new users.

According to Glassnode, new addresses created on the network have been declining since June 11. Between June 11 and June 14, the new wallet address fell by 133 percent from 3,838 to 1,646. Also, investors are reallocating their assets from meme coins to Bitcoin and other resilient assets.

With this, Shiba Inu’s bearish run may continue until this trend reverses. According to IntoTheBlock, more than 90 percent of SHIB holders are currently in a net loss position. Interestingly, the hardware wallet launch could attract new users and turn the price around for investors. 

In the coming weeks, the asset could decline to $0.000005 based on analysts’ observations. As of press time, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.000007.
