Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Blockchain Set to Launch in August: Ready to Kill More Zeros

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has confirmed that the Shiba Inu ecosystem will serve as the title sponsor for the Blockchain Futurist Conference, as well as the official hackathons ETHToronto and ETHWomen, taking place in Toronto, Canada, from August 13-17, 2023.

In addition, according to an official blog post, Kusama will make his first-ever conference appearance via AI during the Shibarium release date. The event will feature an exhibition of the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s Worldpaper, showcasing all Shiba Inu branded projects. Furthermore, detailed information about the Treat token will be unveiled for the first time.

As an integral part of the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Shibarium will host an extended hackathon spanning multiple months. Two booths will showcase Shibarium and a range of SHIB-themed products, platforms, and services, such as Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis, and others.

Furthermore, the event will feature displays from Unification, BadIdea.Ai, and new partners and projects actively building with Shibarium Tech. With this strategic partnership and participation, the Shiba Inu ecosystem aims to showcase its commitment to the blockchain community and demonstrate its industry advancements.

Shibarium Testnet: Robust Activity and Growing Demand

Shibarium’s BONE token establishes the governance of the Shiba Inu community, supporting and overseeing the technology. Additionally, LEASH plays a role in community protection and offers exclusivity, while TREAT is responsible for governing and enhancing community projects.

Within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, the Doggy DAO and SHIB DOGGY DAO FOUNDATION will be implemented to execute decisions made by the DAO and manage its assets. The Doggy DAO will have full control over the ecosystem. In addition, to ensure fair representation, the governance structure will divide into four sections, with each section dedicated to one of the core tokens in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. This division guarantees that all members of the Shiba Inu community have an equal opportunity to voice their opinions and participate in decision-making processes.

The testnet of Shibarium, which serves as a blockchain for testing purposes, has observed significant activity in recent months, witnessing approximately 20 million transactions originating from an estimated 16 million wallets as of June. This robust activity on the Shibarium testnet demonstrates the growing demand for the network.
