Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB), announced Shibarium (CRYPTO: SHIBDAO), an ambitious initiative aiming to create a decentralized and enduring community, is on track to go live in August.
What Happened: Shibarium wants to work within a branded governance framework, leveraging blockchain technology to create an economic, territorial and entertainment environment for its thriving community.
The project’s decentralized structure, backed by the efforts of Shib projects and the formidable ShibArmy, sets it apart from other meme-based projects, Kusama said.

By completing the initial vision set forth by Ryoshi, Shibarium aims to address the fundamental question of how Shib can “Save the world.”

The comprehensive wolrd paper detailing Shibarium’s approach will be unveiled through a series of blog posts during the “Summer of Shibarium,” culminating in a final publication.
Shibarium’s official launch will take place at the Blockchain Futurist Conference in August.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Shibarium’s vision, showcase Shib-branded projects and learn more about Treat, a significant component of the ecosystem. “Exciting partnerships, including Unification and BadIdea.Ai, will be announced during the event,” Kusama stated.
Why It Matters: In the Shiba Inu community, each token holds a distinct role.
Shiba Inu token serves as the governing force for the entire community, while the Bone ShibaSwap (CRYPTO: BONE) token plays a vital role in supporting and overseeing the technological aspects of Shibarium.
The Doge Killer (CRYPTO: LEASH) token is responsible for safeguarding the community and providing exclusive benefits, whereas the Treat token will govern various community projects.
Kusama said the Shiba Inu ecosystem will introduce the Doggy DAO, which will govern the entire ecosystem, and the Shib Doggy DAO Foundation, which will execute decisions made by the decentralized autonomous organization and manage the assets held by the DAO.
To ensure fairness and inclusivity, the governance structure will be divided into four parts, each dedicated to a core token within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, granting an equal voice to all members of the community.
