Although it has been quite a while since the domination of Shiba Inu, meme coins are doing well with certain projects like Baby Doge Coin gaining an enormous 17.7 million in social engagement. Other once heavy hitters, however, seem to have fallen lower in the ranks, such as YooShi or Hamster.

As seen on BSCDaily, Baby Doge Coin was followed by Kiba Inu, Marvin Inu, and CATECOIN as the top meme coins on BSC.

Compared to the other Inus, CATECOIN, in particular, has aimed to deviate from the dog-dominated world of meme coins. The coin, however, was not able to take off as much as moon boys were expecting it to.

The Success of Dogecoin

Meme coins, as of writing, have not seen as much success as compared to when the first dog-themed meme coin was first being tweeted about by Elon Musk. Shortly after the success of Dogecoin, Shiba Inu followed suit, which was then also followed up by a string of other Inu projects.

These other Inu projects, including the likes of Floki Inu, Kiba Inu, and even Marvin Inu, have started to pop up. Another spinoff, however, of the original meme coin has gained the top spot and this is the Baby Doge Coin.

What Meme Coins are Being Talked About on Reddit?

Although meme coins are not necessarily dead, the stellar growth that Dogecoin or other earlier meme coins have generated, however, are no longer seen in more recent meme coines.

According to the SatoshiStreetBets thread on Reddit, there actually has not been much engagement over the last two months when it comes to meme coins.

One coin that has been frequently mentioned on Reddit, however, is SHIBO. SHIBO is the currency of Shibonk and although it is a coin seen on the BSC blockchain, its value has plunged since its launch on January. In fact, it dropped a massive 89.4% from its all time high as seen on CoinGecko.

As of press time, SHIBO is currently only available on PancakeSwap with a $2,300 24-hour volume.
