Unmarshal Indexing Protocol Joins Celo Chain

The crypto ecosystem is growing at an exponential rate, and data stored in the blockchains lack a specific infrastructure. The indexing protocols are created to exploit the demand for organizing and indexing the publicly available data from the blockchains to make it accessible for the projects. These indexing protocols will assist the projects in accessing the right set of data for better optimization. Due to these advantages, the Celo blockchain network officially announced its integration with the Unmarshal indexing protocol on March 25.

Unmarshal is a multi-chain data indexing protocol. The project currently offers its indexing and querying services to seven different blockchains. These chains use Unmarshal for more than 500 smart contract data needs. Unmarshal’s indexing method can bring reliable real-time data to dApps and crypto projects with granular precision. The protocol can query and index data from Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana, and XDC.

The list has just expanded as Unmarshal extended its indexing services to the Celo Chain. Celo is a layer-1 blockchain network forked from Ethereum. The blockchain has made fundamental changes to its infrastructure that made it stand out from its parent chain. First of all, Celo uses the proof-of-stake model for validating transactions on the blockchain. The transactions are powered by the practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance. The network has nurtured a global community of developers. The community has so far built 200 DeFi projects to help further its vision of a prosperous finance system.

Unmarshal will assist developers in building and launching DeFi apps once it starts its services on the Celo chain. The APIs offered by Unmarshal will significantly improve the performance of dApps and other projects on Celo. The integration will offer a wide range of APIs for the developer communities. It includes Asset Balances, Token Transactions, Transaction Details, and others. The protocol also allows custom-built building APIs to suit the specific needs of your projects. This will hugely benefit both developers and users to optimize their DeFi experience on the Celo Chain. 

The Celo network will be listed in the Xscan initiative by the Unmarshal data network. This is a multi-chain search engine that gives you a one-stop solution for all your data needs related to the Celo network. You can get the needed information like balance, transactions, etc., from this tracker by using ENS, address, Txn Hash, or symbol. Unmarshal has been in operation only for less than a year, but it has already signed some great deals with popular projects and networks. This new integration of Unmarshal comes just days before its first anniversary.
