The crypto world is currently going through one of its biggest dips in recent years. The volatility of the cryptocurrency market is what intimidates most crypto beginners, making them hesitant to start investing.
This past week Bill Gates said on Reddit that he still prefers to invest in things that have value because the value of crypto is based on what other individuals predict its worth to be.
A Bear Market
The year 2022 has not been the greatest for the crypto market, with the massive amounts of gains made during the pandemic era now gone. As well as Bitcoin stumbling at what could be considered its lowest point within a calendar year, it is safe to say we’ve entered a bear market.
Crypto analysts and experts would define a bear market as a time where supply is higher than demand, morale keeps getting lower and prices are falling. This also indicates that there is a decline of about 10-20% in a given year. One of the harsh realities that cryptocurrencies face is that any recovery requires a consequential amount of growth, so after a 20% loss, the market would need to rise back to 25% to break even.
While a bear market signals falling stock prices, this could be seen as the best time for new investors to buy the dip, build their portfolio and potentially generate wealth. Two good coins that could help new investors diversify and build their portfolios are Mehracki (MKI) and Binance (BNB).
Mehracki the Revolutionary Meme Token
Meme coins are in a lane of their own, constantly battling amongst themselves to see who will compete with the meme coin greats, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. These two coins have led the race as of late, but Mehracki is gaining popularity as investors are predicting the platform will do well, along with the fact that their presales have been impressive so far.
Mehracki is a community feel-good meme token that is built on the Solana platform. They aim to make their users and investors feel less tense about generating wealth and riches. The Mehracki ‘culture’ is centred around creating jovial moments and activities for people worldwide.
In Mehracki’s whitepaper, they further explain why they want to be the frontrunners of a meme coin revolution by sponsoring activities and causes that will relieve people from stress.
Will Binance (BNB) Bounce Back
Binance (BNB) is the native currency of the Binance Smart blockchain and Binance blockchain. It is an exchange utility coin that gives its holders a myriad of benefits when using the Binance platform. Various U.S based exchanges such as Coinbase and Kraken do not offer BNB trading.
Their whitepaper mentions that “flexibility and usability are often in an inverse relationship with performance”, hence the motivation to create Binance Smart Chain.
Binance is no longer a simple centralised crypto exchange, it is now an increasingly flourishing ecosystem featuring a wide range of financial products and services. Investors can choose to buy and hold BNB, whether they are trading on Binance or not, by using compatible wallets or other crypto exchanges.
Final Thoughts
Although this has not been the best start to the week, investors are still optimistic and proof of this optimism is that during the early hours of Thursday morning saw a 10% rise. New investors are reassured that buying the dip is an effective strategy and if the market continues to show resilience things could progress positively.
Investing in alternative coins like Mehracki (MKI) would be a safe bet as new coins that aren’t yet launched often have more potential, as they have less to lose.
