XRP Wallet Xumm Records 602,989 Active Users from US, UK, Philippines, Indonesia, Korea

Xumm Wallet, the preeminent non-custodial solution for the XRP Ledger (XRPL), has attained a significant milestone in its user base on a global scale. 

In a recent tweet, Xumm Wallet disclosed that its user activity has grown to over 600,000 since July. In particular, the XRPL-based self-custody wallet saw 602,989 active users over the last three months. 

“When it comes to real adoption, we’re only just dipping our toes,” the team remarked in the announcement.

Xumm Records 491,032 Active Users In October

Wietse Wind, founder of XRPL Labs, the team behind Xumm Wallet, recently shared a map alongside a spreadsheet detailing Xumm’s user base across the globe.

Based on the data, Xumm has recorded 491,032 active users so far in October. Leading the chart was the United States, with 145,523 active users. The United Kingdom and the Philippines came second and third with 46,144 and 41,221 users.

Notably, the top ten countries with at least 16k users include Indonesia, South Korea, Nigeria, Canada, Australia, Germany and Japan.

While the Xumm Wallet team celebrated the company’s user activity growth, it also disclosed its future outlook. It highlighted features XRP enthusiasts and the broader crypto community can expect in the coming weeks.

Xumm Wallet Outlook

Specifically, the Xumm team is working on making the application more seamless to retail. According to the team, Xumm Wallet will be ten times more friendly to retail crypto investors. 

The team noted that this 10x in user experience is courtesy of its current redesign endeavor. The revamp on Xumm will likely include changes to the user interface to make the wallet easier for people new to crypto.

Furthermore, the team highlighted efforts to improve liquidity on the platform. According to the team, the XRP Army can expect ten times better liquidity as Xumm works on supporting automated market makers (AMMs) and other decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Besides, the Xumm team teased developing more use cases for crypto enthusiasts. It disclosed working on supporting Xahau and Hooks, two new technologies based on the XRP Ledger. According to the team, Xahau and Hooks will “enable 10x more use cases.”
