Here are the top three stories today in Marietta:
- Randall Jedlink is the unofficial winner of the Marietta Municipal Court judge race, with 69% of the vote on Tuesday, May 2. Jedlink said that since the municipal court is many people’s introduction to the legal system, he wants to make it fairer. - On Tuesday, May 2, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for SAI TECH’s new ESG Friendly Crypto Mining Technology Development Center on Gravel Bank Road in Marietta. The new data research center will “develop technologies to recycle crypto mining heat for different heating needs such as greenhouse and building heating, as well as poultry industry operation.” (WTAP)
- Fort Street Pollinator Habitat is the first public pollinator garden in Marietta! The garden is located in Historic Harmar Village and visitors are welcome. Stop by to see the bees, flowers, and other community members. (Marietta Main Street via Facebook)
