Binance has restarted registrations and access to products and services in Belgium some three months after the country’s markets regulator ordered the cryptocurrency exchange to cease services, it said earlier this week.
On June 23, the Financial Services and Markets Authority ordered Binance to stop offering its crypto services in the country, accusing CEO Changpeng Zhao of violating a prohibition by “offering and providing exchange services in Belgium between virtual currencies and legal currencies, as well as custody wallet services, from countries that are not members of the European Economic Area.”
Now, “various Binance products and services are accessible again to Belgian users who have accepted our new Terms of Use,” the platform said in an X (formerly Twitter) post on Monday.
