$BNB’s Reign Challenged by Reduced Binance Services
On September 15, 2023, Binance revealed that it would delist 20 altcoin trading pairs. The news shocked $BNB’s community, who have faced a decline in Binance’s services since June 5. Binance was sued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 5 for selling unregistered securities.
$BNB’s woes worsened in August and early September following the subsequent market crashes. $BNB was trading at $247.51 on August 1. Yet, it fell by 11.7% to $218.54 on August 17 following the market crash. By September 1, $BNB had fallen by 2.2% to $213.63 following the SEC-triggered downturn.
As $BNB’s price has gradually declined, so have Binance’s services. Some analysts predict that a further reduction in Binance’s services could adversely affect $BNB. It was trading at $214.94 on September 15. Still, analysts say $BNB could drop to $205.45 if demand for Binance’s services drops further.

Is BlackRock Eyeing $XRP?
On September 15, 2023, there were rumors that BlackRock was considering shifting its digital assets focus from Bitcoin to $XRP. Although unconfirmed, the rumor could signal a shift in BlackRock’s attitude towards $XRP since its court victory on July 13. The rumor comes as $XRP has fallen due to bearish pressures triggered since September 1.
$XRP was trading at $0.52 on August 27. By September 1, it had fallen by 5.7% to $0.49. $XRP’s fall came after the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced no response to spot Bitcoin ETFs until October. BlackRock’s rumored consideration of $XRP could be inspired by the delayed approval of Spot Bitcoin ETFs.
Analysts say if BlackRock adds $XRP to its digital asset strategy, it could become one of the best DeFi projects. $XRP was trading at $0.50 on September 15. Yet, analysts say its institutional demand could skyrocket if it’s listed by BlackRock. These analysts say such a scenario would push it up to $0.58.
