By Elise Hansen (June 22, 2022, 7:03 PM EDT) — Cryptocurrency mining company Compass has sued its facility provider in Delaware Chancery Court, arguing that the hosting company is holding equipment “hostage” and hasn’t been maintaining the facilities properly.
Compass Mining Inc. said Tuesday that Dynamics Corp., which does business as Dynamics 2K, had not let it access one of its Maine facilities and might even be using the on-site equipment for its own purposes. Compass provides computers for cryptocurrency mining and access to hosting facilities where mining can take place, according to the complaint.
