Yuga Labs just announced that Apes, Punks, and Meebits will be eligible to purchase the Slipstream Mint Pass. It will allow holders to redeem a Battle Town playable NFT along with a 1:1 custom physical. 10ktf, the NFT project launched by the blockchain tech company WENEW will sell the Slipstream Mint Pass until May 11 at 1:00 PM PT. To acquire a Mint Pass, it will be necessary to hold an NFT from a selection of collections. Apes, Punks, or Meebits are the last to have been announced. Battle.town will also welcome NFTs from the following collections: 0N1 Force, 10KTF Gucci Grail, Cool Cats, CrypToadz by Gremplin, Forgotten Runes Wizards Cult, Gutter Cat Gang, Moonbirds, Nouns, Pudgy Penguins, Wolf Game, World of Women, and World of Women Galaxy. Players can also use a Blank Avatar, which will receive fewer rewards and is ineligible for certain bonuses.
Holders of the Mint Pass will have the possibility to redeem Grailed PUMA Slipstream NFTs until May 11 at 3:00 PM PT. These NFTS will be playable in Battle Town. Moreover, they will be paired with physicals. For that, holders will have to scan NFC chip-equipped physicals to transfer.
What is Battle Town?
Battle.town is a PFP Event Platform created by 10KTF. Players can join Missions in the ongoing Battle for New Tokyo. For that, they can select available Missions and join by sending their Avatars equipped with 10KTF items to help Wagmi-san’s cause.
There’s a specific registration for each mission, and no additional players can join once it’s closed. At the end of every mission, the best-performing players receive rewards. For example, 10KTF will offer Storypoint badges, Stockroom Materials, physicals, or ApeCoin. Battle Town is available only on a desktop and with the Metamask wallet.
“A man of honor” Wagmi-San is a fictional character living in New Toyko. He crafts objects for customers who own parent NFTs. His accessories are 1 of 1 digital objects that will only be created once. Wagmi-San sells them at 10KTF, “an unassuming storefront”.
The 10KTF project was launched on September 17, 2021. It was created by NFT icon Beeple and his company WENEW Labs. WENEW was acquired by Yuga Labs last year. The 10KTF community has over 70k followers on Twitter and over 35k members on Discord.
