Ask him about the property and the various rooms on offer and he shares, “Our property has a 270° view and we made sure that our guests get to see great view from their beds. 3 rooms have sunrise view and 2 rooms have sunset view. The rooms are priced according to their size and the price ranges from 3500 to 4500.”
The vision for Saksham and his family is to incorporate sustainability in every which way that they are able to. “We envision our cafe to be a destination where everyone feels welcomed and valued, with an emphasis on locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients, environmentally-friendly practices and a respect for our community and the planet”, he shares.
There are also a host of different activities and experiences to be had for the conscientious traveller. Some of these Saksham shares are curated experiences like no other. “The main source of income in our village is agriculture. So there are alot of fields and orchards here and we arrange special experience based guided tours through them. There’s also a mushroom farm where guests can go and harvest mushrooms for themselves. Besides that, there are alot of walking trails around the village which will give you a glimpse of what life is like in our village. One of the trails leads to an abandoned fort on the summit of the mountain. It’s a small 30 mins hike and you get a 360° view from there. We have also located a few spots around the trails where we host picnics for our guests,” he elaborates.
